Join me in the Dempsey Challenge!
On October 2nd and 3rd, thousands of people will join me in The Dempsey Challenge presented by Amgen, a bicycle tour and run/walk event designed to raise both cancer awareness and funds for The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing.
Why I ride:
I ride to raise money and awareness for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing. They provide amazing services to those in need of care when they are going through some of the worst times of their lives. I have lost many family members to this killer, and will do everything in my power to help fight it.
Please make a donation to help my fundraising efforts. Every donation really does help. So please give what you can.
I have a variety of items that I will raffle off every time I get 25 new donors. 1 donation gets you entered in all future drawings. Some will be Patrick Dempsey signed items, some will be baked goods, and some, I don't know yet. Last year I had 170 individual donations, so, there will be several opportunities to win fun prizes and help a great cause at the same time.
AND....If you would like to join me in raising money by walking, running or biking in the Dempsey Challenge, please join my team, The Buddha Rubbers. I ask that all my teammates set a goal of at least $1000, but prefer you aim for $3000. Also, you can join as a virtual rider/walker. This means that you don't pay a registration fee or attend the event, but you fundraise (and you can pledge to do a walk, run or ride where you are )
